Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on the 10th of March, 1958, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to the accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die manufacturer as well as former worker in the factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly, Patrick. Stone is the youngest of three sisters. Stone was considered academically gifted as a child and began the second grade when she was five. Stone graduated from high school with a diploma in Saegertown in Saegertown located in Pennsylvania in 1975. In addition, she competed in and won at the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone relocated to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt, to pursue a career as an actress. In just a few months, she signed up with Ford Modeling Agency. She soon relocated to Europe for a time, and lived with her aunt in Milan in Italy and Paris. Stone did, however, become frustrated with modeling and acting in Europe. She chose to continue her career as an actress while she was in Europe. The film of Woody Allen, "Stardust Memories", got mixed praise at the age of 20.
