Aunjanue E. Taylor Aunjanue E. Taylor, an American actor-producer and stage actress is well-known for her role in the film Ray Undercover Brother as well as in The Mentalist. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is a writer and American actor who is active in theater, television and film. Her acting journey began in theater and later appeared in numerous TV shows and independent as well as mainstream films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character who appeared on ABC's Quantico. The BET's massive series The Book of Negroes she was a character.
